Fleet Maintenance Specialty Technician Supervisor

About the role

As a Fleet Maintenance Specialty Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of Fleet team members at different hubs and across all shifts 
  • Maintaining our vehicles and restaurant equipment onboard our vehicles
  • Trouble shooting120-240Volt AC electrical systems and12-24V DC electrical systems
  • Performing safety and mechanical checks of all vehicles
  • Repairing and maintaining fleet assets (oil changes, brakes, all scheduled maintenance items per MFR)
  • Locally driving between company facilities
  • Troubleshooting automotive, mechanical, electrical systems and reporting issues and updates to the manager in a timely fashion
  • Documenting maintenance work or team members and reviewing and auditing team's work using our fleet software
  • Coaching team members, redirecting performance and/or recommending team members for additional training 

Fleet Maintenance Specialty Technician Lead role details

  • Salary: $42/hr
  • Shifts available
    • 12pm - 8pm
    • 12am - 8am

The experience you have

  • Previous experience in training, teaching,  or people management
  • Ability to assign, direct, or complete tasks in a group or independently 
  • Trade school, vocational school, and or OJT apprenticeship is a plus
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the automotive or related mechanical trades
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be organized, detailed oriented, able to multitask and work under minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, active listener and analytical skills

  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, crouching as job may require
  • Ability to work outside in all seasons
  • ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Light metal fabrication experience
  • Welding experience TIG/MIG
