About the role  

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Food Service Technician Lead to join our Facilities team. This role is responsible for prioritizing and completing work orders to include diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of hot side and cold side commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process, prioritize and complete work orders submitted via our Facilities Helpdesk app
  • Complete regularly scheduled equipment PM
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete necessary repairs or dispatch to third party contractors
  • Assist with new equipment installations/commissioning and decommissioning
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies when required

The experience you have  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years previous experience as a CFE service technician
  • CFESA Certification a plus
  • Braising and soldering skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing repair, practice and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory and safety
  • Strong working knowledge of fundamental commercial refrigeration practice and theory

Job Salary: $32/hour
