About the role

The Director, Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for our upcoming WonderX business vertical “Wonder HDR” which includes hyper localized initiatives for individual restaurants as well as broader campaigns to build overall brand awareness in the market. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the broader WonderX and Wonder Marketing & Creative teams and drive everything from strategic ideation to flawless execution. This role is highly cross functional working with teams across marketing, creative, operations, product/technology, data, and business strategy. You will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to have all proper inputs and requirements. You will be responsible for translating business strategy & goals into a marketing plan, execution, and results.

In this role you will

  • Design strategy & playbook for a hyper-local marketing program which includes storefront displays, ambassador programs, collateral distribution, direct mail campaigns and digital marketing (social media & 3rd party delivery company) campaigns
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to engage new customers as well as re-active current customers for maximum awareness and high conversion into downloading the native Wonder app from other channels
  • Create and maintain the master marketing calendar(s) for all HDR related marketing activities; ensure clear communication and KPI definition around each calendar milestone; measure campaign results and make data driven decisions
  • Plan and host in person marketing events
  • Support overall marketing team goals and programs

The experience you have

  • 10+ years’ experience in restaurant marketing (QSR marketing experience preferred)
  • Experience with brand strategy and platform development
  • Experience with localized marketing campaigns
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Deployed physical and digital marketing campaigns and can prioritize approach based on ROI
  • Experience with organizing local and regional events
  • Outstanding communicator and creative thinker
  • Proficient in marketing automation and analytics features
  • Experience with marketing tools and software

Base Salary Range: $185K - $210K
